Videography

I created this video to be aired on guest televisions at Nita Lake Lodge to highlight the sustainability initiatives undertaken by the hotel featuring a 117KW solar array designed and installed by Shift.
The Alberni Low Energy Housing Society or ALEHS in Port Alberni wanted to showcase the success of their highly energy efficient apartment building which included a solar array installed by Shift.
A project I put together for Shift Energy Group for the 2025 Victoria Day Parade in Victoria, BC. The goal was to capture the community spirit and fun had by both the spectators and parade participants alike.
I put this video together to help raise awareness of the FireSmart program after my own neighbourhood got involved. So many communities in Canada could benefit by becoming FireSmart certified.
A testimonial video I created for a charity I volunteer with called the Juan de Fuca Performing Arts Centre Society, about the need for a purpose built performing arts center serving the ever expanding West Shore communities in the Greater Victoria Area on Vancouver Island.
This is a short documentary about the Victoria Sailing Co-op we produced as our final class project in the Digital Production, Writing & Design program at Camosun College in Victoria, BC. I served as director and producer for the project and I am proud of the final product my team produced.
Our final class project in film school from many years ago on which I served as producer. We had a great crew and really enjoyed putting this together. It is the story of graffiti culture in Calgary in the early 2000’s, and questions who gets to define art and where the line between artistic expression and vandalism lies.

I made this at Everything Electric in Vancouver as part of a recurring “man on the street” social media segment for Shift Energy Group called “Shift Around Town”.
“Shift Around Town” at Music In The Park in Beckwith Park from summer 2025.
“Shift Around Town” in Vancouver, BC on Kits Beach.
A video highlighting the importance of a performing arts venue in the West Shore in the Greater Victoria Area. This is the long cut for use on the website while the vertical video opposite is one of several shorter cuts for social media.

While I love the small town in the prairies I grew up in, I feel fortunate to live and work on the West Coast of British Columbia today. My desire to learn about and understand the world I live in is matched only by my need to do creative things. I think that is why I’m attracted to working with cameras and computers in this field. There is a little science & technology and a little bit of pure creative outlet.
